Of Princes & Fairy Tales

Once upon a time, in a land called Neepoh, there lived a handsome prince. All across the land every maiden, tall short fat thin, old and young were in awed of him. He was literally the ISO standard of what a white knight is. Handsome, tall and brave with a sense of unwavering justice.

The people of his land love him. Especially the ladies (and a few gays). They know they can count on his wisdom and leadership to shepherd them when evil pirates raid their land.

Afterall, in every fairy tale, the handsome prince on a white horse always prevail against evil. And then everyone live happily ever after on this prosperous land.....

Farklar.

Fairy tales don't farking exist. Thank God I did not subscribe the Astro Disney Channel.

Vomit Blood... Really diu.

Farklar white knight... I now rather bet on Wolverine.

Slash, slash, slash. (*blood splatter all over and severed limbs dropping everywhere) THud! Somebody's balls got cut off and landed on the bloody floor.

Hentam Pulau Ketam

300-400 stray dogs were rounded up by Pulau Ketam residents and shipped off to a nearby mangrove island to die a slow starving death.

What sadistic bastards would come out with such an idea? Personally I do not wish to generalize and point fingers at ALL Pulau Ketam residents. Statistically, it is quite impossible every resident is so cold-hearted and sick to condone such deed... but I would say still quite a large number are capable. It has to be. To ferry off 300+ dogs is no small feat where 1 or 2 individuals can carry out. It has to be one hell of a mega project with plenty of culprits involved.

Look, if the strays are shot, I would have been sad but, still able to accept it as a fact of life. The fact of life that dogs are not accorded any rights like people. Well, at least not in this part of the world where you can starve, scald your pets and even serve them inside your curry and get away with it in the name of Asian culture. Credits to authorities who don't give a shit to human rights let alone dogs. BUT, to come up with such a cruel and inhumane way of disposing the poor dogs are a whole different ball game.

To those farkers from Pulau Ketam who are responsible, you should get help. From a shrink.

Just think, these sadistic farkers are sick inside. No doubt about it. People with such cruel sadistic streak are a walking time bomb. Not only 4 legged creatures have to fear them, the 2 legged ones have legimate reasons too.

People who are capable of such acts are not exactly 'sound' up there. No person in the right mind would choose such cruel way in disposing unwanted strays. Put the dogs to sleep if you must, but there is no need to prolong their suffering by taking time devising such a cruel gameplan. If these people can so painstakingly round up and ferry those dogs to an island, you certainly cannot deny the fact plenty of thoughts have been put in to it. This is damn disturbing. Not only on the prospect of those poor dogs starving away, but the fact such sick ideas can prevail from a group of 'people.'

Round those farkers up and probe their sick brains. Who knows what these sickos can do? Dogs today, people tomorrow?

BUM 2009

You know those kind of ladies that keep telling you to try this and that, may it be makeup, skincare, diet pills and food outlet just because they tried it and they like it? Well, I'm one of them.

Last year I was at BUM 2008 (helping to do registration on the spot) and this year I'm back. The day is May 16, a Saturday. The first BUM session starts at 10.30am right till the 3rd session at 8.30pm. No worries...basically your usual Saturday nightlife is not disrupted because there's still plenty of time left after the event for you to prowl your favorite night spot.

Just make your May 16 Saturday (just the early part, at least) available. Your usual clubbing and mamaking routine can start after 10pm. :-P

What? You're not a SoPo blogger? Ha? Don't even have a blog?

Nevermind. You don't have to be a SoPo blogger to attend. You just need RM60 for the fee inclusive of makan. If you're one of those kiamsap bugger (like me) who visit Malaysiakini everyday just to catch a glimpse of their headline and scout for free article link because you don't have a subscription... or hang around Malaysia Today, Rocky Bru blog, The Malaysian Insider etc to see what's up, then you know you care one... Just because you don't blog about politics as fervently as those so-called SoPo bloggers does not mean you don't give a hoot. Just admit it.

Come lar.

You can find out more at BUM 2009 official blog.

New Place

This week has been especially taxing for me as I am finalizing my plans in getting a place in KL. I always wanted to get a place of my own in the heart of KL. Not Cheras, Sentul, Puchong, Rawang lar mind you.... I wanted my place right in the middle of the city. No compromise..... well, a little bit maybe. Definitely cannnot afford KLCC area so, I'll have to make do with places near KLCC.

After scouting around for almost half a year, I finally got my dream place that don't exactly cost me an arm and a leg.......( just my kidney and liver. )

Will continue to update as I furnish my nest. All I can say is, it's walking distance to Colliseum where I can get draft beer (hate the bottled ones) for RM7.95 and the BEST Irish coffee EVER at RM15.90. I'm totally in love with Irish coffee....

Did I mention it's just an hour drive to Port Dickson should I suddenly have the urge to get all romantic and go watch sunset by the sea?

Can't wait for the current tenant to move out. Just another 1 more week and I'm ready to do up my place and *succumbed to Irish Coffee every night.

*as my finances permit....

Ramdom Pics from the Web

Found some before and after pics of Korean actresses.

For the life of me, I don't know who these actresses are. All I can say is, "it's worth every penny."

Please, don't tell me it's all fake.

So, what if it's fake?

How you view people who go for enhancement is in a way reflective how you view life. Accept the hand you're dealt with or up the stakes and ask for a re-shuffle? Whatever rock your boat, right?

.... and more crucially, whatever others find rock their boat.

That's the Last Time I'm coming to your Blog

See this?

this??

Does this farkin picture pop out when people come to your blog? Then this post is dedicated to you.

I'm not against advertisement on blogs. You can place your damn ads left, right, middle or up your own ass I don't care. I'm not unreasonable. I can simply choose to ignore and NOT click on your ads. I have a choice. Just like you did when you sign your blog up for advertorials.

Fair and square.

What farkin get to me are those 'bloggers' who put pop-up advertorials. Make no mistake, these are not in the same league as the usual adsense. What I'm talking about are those 'in your face' kind of ads that pop up in your browser window. Not one, sometimes 2. It won't be as bad (but still equally annoying) if those ads have some relevancy. The mother of all irrelevancy ads is the damn ad (above) pimping 'cool baby ringtones.'

Heaven's sake is it cool to give people the impression you have a baby stuffed in your handbag somewhere whenever your handphone rings? Give me a break.

Honestly, those pop-up shit are damn rude. You are simply forcing people to look at your ugly ads. Look at it this way, if your ad suddenly came out of nowhere and attacked unsuspecting readers who came to check out your postings, the only apt word is FORCE.

It's your blog and it's none of my business?

True, that is why I'm taking great measure to continue making it NONE of my business by avoiding your blog and making sure you don't infringe my freedom of choice in choosing NOT to look at your ads.

Fair?

So Happy he Won

you bet I will...

Really, I'm so glad Nizar pulled through in Bukit Gantang. As superficial as I usually am, me throwing my support behind him has nothing to do with my usual self-proclaimed sense of injustice in rooting for the little guy after he was unceremoniously ousted by the new Perak garmen. My support is wholly in the man himself, not his predicament that earned him sympathy points.

I first saw Nizar in person a little over a year ago in some PR function celebrating their last GE victory. I was there to catch a glimpse of the usual suspects like LKS, LGE and Anwar. (though Anwar dude was a no-show in the end... neither was LGE) As a consolation prize, it was announced the new MB appointed by the Sultan, a PAS guy by the name of Nizar Jamaluddin will make his appearance. Sorry, who? Never heard before.

The predominant Chinese crowd was probably more amused and thrilled at the idea having a PAS man come into a Chinese temple (that's where the function was held) than the novelty of meeting the Perak MB. A meek, soft-spoken Nizar who looked 100% better in person appeared and wooed the crowd. Well, that's what politicians do.

To me, the true test of character was when he uttered 'mohon derhaka' to the King and took his stance by refusing to resign. Honestly, politicians can go shake a zillion hands, hold babies, visit the poor, shed 2 bucketful of crocodile tears and smile non-stop in front of the camera to earn brownie points but how many have the balls and conviction to stand their ground in face of challenge? Let's face it, politicians are not known to have a strong back bone. This one probably take Anlene.

Gosh, this post is starting to sound corny the way I'm gushing over him. To make my story short, I'm just so glad such a good man prevail in the end. Ok, OK, stop now...... too gelee already.
