Weekend Pics and The Sign
Here's some weekend pics I took. I was at a mall and one of the jewellery chain was having a runway show to showcase their diamond. There was a nice crowd and honestly, who would want to look at some overpriced stones when they can look at the tall leggy models?I sure hell didn't. I started shooting the models. I always carry my compact camera with me and it's one of those days it paid off.
I've been covetting a digital SLR camera. See my point? The compact camera is OK if the sun is up and shining. Without the sun and flash, it's a pain. Not to mention I cannot zoom in on those models. This is a sign. I was talking to my hubby about changing cameras last night and the next day, I get to show my camera's inadequacy. If this is not a sign for me to buy a D-SLR camera, I don't know what is..
Talking about the models, they're thin and leggy. The face ain't bad either. I told my husband, "the girls damn hawt hor?"
Hubby replied, "So-so lar.."
What? Like this also 'so-so'?? Damn, stop putting pressure on me. I cannot fill in such big shoes.
Don't know why, ladies like to ask their man whether this girl hawt lar or that girl pretty or not. Cannot help it. So used to it already. Come to think of it, I don't why why we ladies like to ask. Especially when we're not interested in the truth anyway. :-P

I agree with your hubby - those models only so-so lar. No need to compare, I'm sure your hubby loves you because you have something other women don't have that turns him on, right?

i wonder if the models can come out with more creative pose for showing the jewelleries..cos most of the pose are same...
and they really look so-so ;)
Nolah, dSLR cameras are good but they're too big & bulky to carry around. Stick to your compact camera.
hmm...I dun ask like dis one...I ask "I am better looking than them hor?...hor?...H..O...R????"...then no choice but will answer "YES lor"...:-P

CKTan - nikon? I am thinking about Canon 400D. You see, I used to have a non-D Canon SLR.. until it got stolen. I still have those tele-lenses. I heard D-SLR can still use back those lenses meant for non-Digital SLR. So I no need to buy again lor..
Adrian - Am wondering where I could lay my hands on that manual ler?
Danny - I guess there's only so much pose you can do when you're showcasing jewellery. Anyway nobody cared about the jewellery one lar.. I bet you won't either. lol
Wuching - True, D-SLR are huge.. but then damn powerful mar. Summore hor, if I put inside a special bag, I can look like CNN or National Geo. photographer ler... Cool

we ask so we know where we 'stand' in comparison mah.. hehehe..
then we know what to improve .. but most of the time, u r right, we dun want to know the truth.. we still want to be the pretty ones in their eyes~
Maybe your hubby afraid that you would get upset with him for ogling and staring at the models and saying that they are damn hot :p

Talking about the digital camera, I know that DSLR is good but I still prefer pocket digital camera which I have now as I can put it into my handbag easily.
About the model, quite shok ma.. tall and thin and long beautiful legs.. hehe..

Your husband gave the correct answer. If he agrees with you, your next question could be "hawter than me?". Then he is a dead duck.
