MCA Is Public Enemy

Seriously, nothing like good old dulan news in the morning to jolt me to post something on a lazy morning. If I have my way, I'll rather write about puppies and blue skies. But nothing like good old frustration to start the morning engine with some build-up steam.

Housing and Local Government Minister Datuk Ong Ka Chuan said he saw no reason why those Barisan Nasional councillors who quit as a matter of principle in Pakatan Rakyat-led states should “sit around and do nothing”.

all 3,285 Village Head had resigned. The reason cited is a noble one. Rather die and go hungry than to work for the 'enemy.' WOw.. Reminded me of those TVB series about Japanese occupation. Red blooded Chinese that rather die than to co-operate with the Japs. Wow, how noble. Make sure we take note so we can write down their heroic deeds on their memorial stone when they're 6 feet under.

But then wait a minute.... They're freaking PAID to serve. These 'public servants' from MCA resigned on principal principle and then get hired back by the Federal coordination committee to serve the people.

What a bunch of hypocrites.

First and foremost, I'm confused here. When these MCA village heads resigned on principal principle, I ask what principal principle. The principal principle of not sleeping with the enemy? If so, they shouldn't be serving the public. Afterall, it's the public that voted their enemy (Pakatan) to power. It's the people's choice. So isn't it common sense if you cannot work with the Govt elected by the rakyat, you then definitely cannot work with the rakyat. They sure as hell then cannot work for the rakyat.

Look, I wasn't born yesterday. I know politics are dirty and no Dynamo can wash it off no matter how many nights you soak the thing. I understand different political parties have their own agenda. What I cannot tahan is the Holy Than Thou excuse using the welfare of the rakyat as their shield. Fight Pakatan if you want, just don't say you're doing it for the 'people.' Find other excuses lar if you must.

They don't have to do nothing. Just don't expect to be paid for doing something lar. I'm not pro-any party. Not Anwar, not LKS. But my eyes don't lie to me. Many, many years before March 8, when DAP was still opposition, they (DAP) had a shack of a branch serving Pasir Pinji area. It's opened at night, and people come with their complains from garbage collection to blocked drainage. The aspiring (then) MP/wakil rakyat and now EXCO members were there to listen to the rakyat's woes. They were there and I don't mean you see their face when the election is round the corner. They were there way before the election time. Years before.. even when they were defeated in the previous GEs. Did they get paid then? NO.

Of course justice has a way of making up to them and now they're EXCO members and probably can afford to hire somebody . So MCA should stop talking cock about serving the public and at the breath expect to get compensated with the taxpayers' money. Pleaselar, I don't know what you've taken but stop hallucinating you're the saviour to the public on a white horse. *puke*
